I am one person trying to make a difference. I am not trying to make a change, just a difference. I am not here trying to be a miracle worker and make promises that I can’t keep. All I’m trying to do is make a few families lives brighter for one day or maybe two. The families I will be reaching are families who have no resources. Typically they come from far away towns, some take as much as 6 hours by bus to get to the free hospital in Mexico City to seek treatment.

What we will be doing is setting up a staging area in the hospital in Mexico. We  (family and friends) will be handing out basic food and hygiene necessities (Please click here  for list). Some of these items cost as little as .80 cents and most are approximately 1 dollar. To us a dollar or two is fairly insignificant but to a family who has to return home with nothing to eat, it is a big deal!

I am not asking for any specific amount you can donate as little or as much as you would like. As you can see by my list even one dollar will buy a 1kg of beans or rice, that will make a difference. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I will start this fundraising by making the first donation of 500 dollars. My goal is to raise 3000 dollars. Hopefully the goal will be met, if so we will be handing out all these provisions on Dec 8th 2007. If the goal is not met, we will be passing them out first week of April 2008.
